What is Pexo?

Pexo is an AI video agent from Extremo Limited that turns a conversation into a finished video. You give it a starting point — a website URL, PDF, image, audio clip, reference video or just an idea — and it works out the script, scenes and shots with you, picks a generation model for each job (it routes across models such as Seedance, Kling, Nano Banana and GPT Image, with ElevenLabs for voice) and assembles the result with voiceover, music, captions and motion graphics. To revise, you comment on or circle the part you want changed, much like reviewing a Google Doc. It also offers a CLI and MCP access, and it was one of the top five Product Hunt launches in the week of 28 September 2026.

Pexo is subscription-based: Pro, Elite and Max tiers each include a monthly credit allowance and unlock watermark-free exports, with Pro listed at about $30/month at the time of writing. Read the small print: subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and payments are non-refundable except where the law requires.

Our editor score is 4.2/5 in Video. Pick Pexo for launch videos, explainers and product ads you would otherwise brief to a freelancer; use a timeline editor like CapCut or Descript when you need frame-level control.

Best for:
  • Founders making product launch and explainer videos fast
  • Marketers turning a URL or PDF into a social-ready video
  • Teams that want one agent handling script, voice, music and edit
Not ideal for:
  • Editors who need precise, frame-by-frame control
  • Long-form or documentary editing
